Reports Tab

The Reports tab includes the dashparts presented as charts or tables.

Each dashpart has context-sensitive links related to a Costpoint, Budgeting & Planning, or Time & Expense screen to allow you to view detailed information of your organizations.

The dashparts that require an add-on module, Budgeting & Planning, or Time & Expense license are not displayed by default. You have to manually enable these dashparts on the Parameters tab to display them on the Reports tab. Alternatively, your system administrator can set up these dashparts to display automatically on the dashboard for you and all the users in your company if your company has the appropriate license.

Attention: System administrators can set up predefined dashboard application layouts, and other custom user specifications, through user interface (UI) profiles. UI profiles can be assigned to users or user groups and are created and defined through the Manage User Interface Profiles screen. For more information on UI profiles and the steps on customizing an application for a UI profile, see the online help for this screen.

On the Reports tab view, the File, Line, Options, and Process items in the Global Menu are disabled, while only the Refresh icon on the Global Toolbar and the Help menu item are available. To access more options in the menu and toolbar, go to the Parameters tab.

You use the Reports tab mainly to view dashpart data and drill through the application linked to the dashpart. You can, however, sort and copy data for some dashparts. To learn more about these functionalities, refer to the How to links below.
